I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

Praise to the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God and not from us. Therefore, we do not lose heart, though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
